The new season is not too far off and pre-season training is underway. If you are interesting in playing for Sheffield RUFC then either contact one of the team captains or team managers. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-30pm onwards at Abbeydale Sports Club on Abbeydale Road, Sheffield S17
The 1st team had a brilliant end to the season 2009-2010 and finished second in Yorkshire Division 1. We played team Northumbria in the Play Offs and after a terrific game of rugby were beaten. This was a big disappointment but as Team Northumbria are an academy for Newcastle Falcons, then we were always going to be hard pressed, but the Blue Boys made all the supportes proud in their attitude and approach to the game.
